Stephen Colbert noticed a revealing second for Donald Trump ― one the “Late Present” host mentioned proves simply how “pathetic” the previous president actually is.

In new audio performed throughout Tuesday’s Jan. 6 committee hearings, Trump pressured Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to overturn the outcomes of the 2020 election.

“I solely want 11,000 votes,” Trump mentioned throughout the cellphone name after the election. “Fellas, I would like 11,000 votes, give me a break.”

“That’s simply pathetic,” Colbert mentioned after airing the audio. “He’s actually begging them to invent votes for him. It’s like watching an outdated man attempt to mooch an additional pancake on the Denny’s.”
