CCEA approves extension of PM SVANidhi scheme till December 2024

The Cupboard Committee on Financial Affairs on Wednesday authorised extension of the Prime Minister Road Vendor’s AtmaNirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi) past March 2022 until December 2024. This has been finished maintaining in thoughts the influence of the pandemic-related stress on small companies.

The Centre believes the extension of lending until December 2024 would help in institutionalising the entry to formal credit score channels, offering an assured supply of credit score, growing the adoption of digital transactions and lowering the influence of potential NPAs on the lending Establishments.
