BOSTON (CBS) — Cam Newton will doubtless be in search of a brand new workforce this offseason after a tough one-year stint with the New England Patriots in 2020. He’s letting any potential employer know that they’ll be getting a slimmed-down model of the quarterback that they noticed final season.
Newton plans on dropping 20 kilos this offseason, the quarterback revealed on his Instagram account Thursday. That shouldn’t be too troublesome given his rigorous exercise regime, and the 31-year-old added that his vegan weight loss program may even assist in his quest to shed just a few lbs.
“The wholesome natural means!” Newton wrote in his regular font.

The Patriots listed Newton at 245 kilos final season, and the QB is now trying to drop under the load he was when he was first recruited out of highschool when he was 232 kilos.
Weight was not a problem for Newton final season, as he was a beast within the operating sport with 592 yard and 12 speeding touchdowns. His shoulder was the largest problem, as he threw for a career-low 2,657 yards with eight touchdowns and 10 interceptions over 15 video games.
